Related Products only shows up for authenticated users

A few days ago I was able to see the Related products block on the home page as an anonymous user.  Now I can only see it when I am logged into the admin account (I don't have any other accounts set up to see if this is limited to admin or any authenticated user).  I checked the block settings and the view settings and it looks like it should be visible to any anonymous user. But I still cannot see it.  My dev site is at footneutral.com if you want to check it out.

FWIW it seems to be affecting other blocks as well.  I can not see Related Products either

I am having the same problem and it is not getting addressed.  I am not real happy about this and will reconsider future purchases.

Steve,

Have you submitted a support ticket? This is also Monday and our normal working hours are Monday - Friday 9am till 6pm EST (although we do still log hours on weekends).

The initial question above was submitted on Saturday. Please consider giving us time to respond -- typically in the order requests are received for tickets, then forum submissions. I'm asking about this right now.

Thanks

Chad,

Moved this to a ticket and asked your for login details. Could you please respond in the ticket (not this forum post) with your login credentials so that we can take a look?

Thanks

Update #1: We are working on a recommendation for this and will post one shortly. However, I'd like to note that the issue isn't related to our theme at all. Please see this post for more details: http://drupal.org/node/1344350#comment-5261882

The issue with the non-authenticated users is a conflict between the Views module and Commerce module. The issue is mainly with Views, a core Drupal module.

Updating shortly...

Update #2: Email sent to all Commerce+Views theme users -- currently the Shoppica and Ecommerce Pro themes.

-----------------------

I just wanted to send out a quick notice to those using the Shoppica or Ecommerce Pro themes with the Commerce module.

It came to our attention yesterday afternoon that some non-authenticated users may not be able to see certain "Views" like a "Related Products," "Best Sellers," or even a slider region that's hooked into the Views module within a Commerce module theme. This occurs when you update the Views module to the latest release (see below).

This issue, as of now, seems to only occur with the Commerce module and Views, not Ubercart and Views. Please see this post for more information: http://drupal.org/node/1344350#comment-5261882

That post notes the following:
"...you can you use Commerce 7.x-1.x-dev with any Views version. However, soon we'll be committing patches that require Views RC3, leading to Commerce 1.1 that requires Views RC3"

So, we urge anyone using the Commerce + Views module to update on a development environment first, then check their site from several browsers as a non-authenticated user. We are hoping the Commerce maintainers will upgrade a patch, although it is not known yet whether the Views maintainers will try and support this user access issue, as I see several commits for patches in a related thread: http://drupal.org/node/1222324

Will post more as we find out additional information or receive an update.

Our current build of either theme does not have this issue. It only happens when you upgrade Views after purchasing.

Update #3: One user tried the recommendation found in #1 comment here: http://drupal.org/node/1276900#comment-4980066

Edit the View > "Advanced" > "Query settings" > check "Disable Query Rewriting"

They said it worked for them. However, try at your own risk, as it may not be a permanent resolution to the issue and an update may follow from the Views maintainers or the Commerce module.
